Abstract

The invention discloses a method of preparing compound flocculating agent by utilizing fly ash and killing pickle. The method comprises following steps: (A) burning: adding fly ash and Na2CO3 in a crucible to make aluminum and silicon in the fly ash turn into more activated amorphous state or crystal; (B) acid soaking: adding killing pickle into the burned fly ash, stirring and then filtering in a constant temperature water bath, obtaining acid soaked filter liquid and filter slag, drying and grinding the filter slag; (C) alkali dissolving: adding the filter slag into an alkali solution to boil, then filtering the reaction liquid, and obtaining the filter liquid, which is the sodium silicate solution; (D) adding acid to polymerize: adding waste acid in the sodium silicate solution to adjust pH value and then having polymerization reactions under stirring, and obtaining the polysilicic acid solution; (E) mixing the polysilicic acid solution and the acid soaked filter liquid, stirring, curing and obtaining a reddish brown gel liquid, which is the compound flocculating agent. The invention is aimed to provide a preparation method, which has a simple technology and can effectively utilize fly ash and killing pickle in iron and steel plants.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for preparing a composite flocculant by using fly ash and pickling waste liquid. Background technique [0002] Composite inorganic polymer flocculants refer to substances that contain aluminum salts, iron salts and silicates and other substances that have flocculation or coagulation aiding effects. Aluminum-based and iron-based inorganic flocculants have been used as two types of inorganic flocculants. Ten years of development history, pure aluminum salts have disadvantages such as slow settling speed and poor decolorization effect, while pure iron salts have fast settling speed and good turbidity removal effect, but iron salts are highly corrosive. Therefore, the copolymerization of aluminum and iron into new polymers, which have the characteristics of general aluminum salts and iron salts, has become a new research direction. [0003] Activated silicic acid was used as a coagulant in water treatment in the middle an...
