Problems solved by technology

[0005] At present, the interaction between Shh (Sonic hedgehog) and Bmp2 (Bone morphogenetic protein2) signaling pathways has been confirmed to be related to the formation of barbs (Harris, M.P., S.Williamson, J.F.Fallon, et al. Molecular evidence for an activator-inhibitor mechanism in development of embryonic feather branching.Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A,2005,102(33):11734-11739), among them, but there are few studies on the development and differentiation of the pinnae at the molecular level, There is even a lack of molecular markers for the detection of silk feather traits in chickens

Abstract

The invention discloses a method of screening silky character of chicken by SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) detection. The method comprises the following steps: 1) extracting a DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) sample of chicken to be detected, and carrying out PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) amplification by using DNA specific primer pairs to obtain a PCR amplification product; and 2) carrying out SNP detection on the third chromosome 70486623bp site of chicken in the PCR amplification product. The invention provides an efficient, accurate, simple and quick chicken breeding assistant selection molecular genetic mark and provides an efficient molecular mark breeding means for seed selection and retention of silky character of chicken. The detection method disclosed by the invention is simple to operate, low in cost and high in accuracy, and can realize automatic detection.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for SNP detection and screening of chickens, in particular to a method for SNP detection and screening of silk feather traits of chickens. Background technique [0002] Single nucleotide polymorphisms (Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms, SNP) refer to the variation of a single nucleotide in the genome, which can be stably inherited to offspring during the transmission of genetic material, so it can be used as a molecular marker for breeding and conservation. [0003] Appearance is one of the important breed characteristics of chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus), which plays an important role in breeding and conservation. At present, there are still few studies on molecular markers controlling chicken appearance characteristics, and only a small number of appearance characteristics can be passed through molecular markers. markers for assisted selection breeding. [0004] Feather is one of the most complex epidermal appenda...
