Abstract

The invention discloses recycled ABS plastic capable of being applied to manufacturing of a traveling case shell, and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, blasting and drying recovered ABS plastic at 80 DEG C for 7-9 hours; weighing the dried recovered ABS plastic, a flexibilizer, a cross-linking agent and a compatilizer according to the weight ratio and feeding the weighed materials to a high-speed mixer to mix for 3-5 minutes; and extruding and pelleting the materials by adopting a twin-screw extruder at 190-220 DEG C, so as to obtain the product. Inorganic packing is added to the recovered ABS plastic for enhancement in general, so that the quality of the recovered plastic is reduced, and the recovered ABS plastic cannot be applied to manufacturing of high-grade traveling case shells. The method can be applied to manufacturing of travelling case shells with high quality requirements by simultaneously achieving the effects of toughening and enhancing the recovered ABS plastic without adding the inorganic packing, and has high economic benefits.
