A capacitive dry powder flow meter comprises a capacitive detection unit and a signal processing unit. The capacitive detection unit comprises a ceramic pipe serving as an inner container of a measuring pipe. The outer wall of the ceramic pipe is square, an inner cavity of the ceramic pipe is a circular duct, and a thick insulating plate wraps the periphery of the ceramic pipe. Eight plate capacitors are arranged between the ceramic pipe and the thick insulating plate. Two of the plate capacitors are attached to each face of the ceramic pipe, wherein one is located at the front end of the ceramic pipe, and the other is located at the rear end of the ceramic pipe.
