Embodiment 1

[0023] 1. Horizontal ditch water collection and land preparation

[0024] (1) Applicable terrain

[0025] It is suitable for arid mountainous areas prone to soil erosion, slopes with slopes less than 35°, relatively neat slopes, and deep soil layers;

[0026] (2) Site preparation method

[0027] Thoroughly remove weeds before site preparation, excavate a horizontal ditch with a width of 80 cm and a depth of 60 cm along the contour line, and build a ridge with a width of 40 cm and a height of 50 cm on the outside of the ditch with the excavated soil. The side slope of the ridge is 60°. Backfill the surface soil above the inner side of the ditch (backfill to a depth suitable for planting seedlings, 20 cm away from the pit surface), keep the ditch surface high outside and low inside, and make a 6° reverse slope field surface, the field surface is 2 meters wide, and fill in the ditch Qilian juniper is planted in loose topsoil. The distance between the upper and lower adjacent h...

Abstract

The invention discloses a drought-resistant afforestation method for sabina przewalskii in a drought shallow mountainous area in order to solve the problem that survival rate of afforestation for sabina przewalskii in the drought mountainous area is low. The drought-resistant afforestation method comprises following steps of: A, soil preparation; B, collection of direct surface runoff: collecting an overland flow slope and selecting a plastic film or asphaltic felt to be laid on a slope; C, seedling transplanting: placing seedlings to centers of holes and backfilling soil, gently lifting seedlings for 1 to 2 centimeters after soil is filled such that roots are closely combined with soil; D, covering tree disks with grass: covering grass around cultivated seedling rootstocks within the range of 0.8 to 1.0 meter; and covering tree disks with grass such that tree disks covered with grass are concave. The drought-resistant afforestation method for sabina przewalskii in the drought shallow mountainous area has following beneficial effects: by adoption of methods such as flow concentration, water storage, soil preparation and grass coverage of tree disks, survival rate for afforestation of sabina przewalskii in the drought shallow mountainous area is increased; the population size of man-made forests for sabina przewalskii is increased; and an technical guarantee is provided for plantation of sabina przewalskii for affectation by broad application of local trees and landscaping, improvement on an ecological environment and enhancement of regional water conservation and water and soil conservation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of forestry, and in particular relates to a drought-resistant afforestation method for Qilian juniper. Background technique [0002] Qilian juniper is a unique tree species in my country. It is mainly produced on the northern slope of Qilian Mountains in the north of the Hexi Corridor in Gansu, in the east, north, northeast, and west of Qinghai, and in the sunny slopes of northern Sichuan (Songpan) at an altitude of 2600-4000 meters. It is an ideal tree species for urban greening and afforestation in arid areas due to its good conical crown and the characteristics of resistance to drought, severe cold, barrenness, and salt and alkali. As the only forest type distributed in the subalpine dark coniferous forest belt of the Qilian Mountains forest area, the natural forest of Qilian juniper is mainly middle-aged and old forests, and there is almost no naturally regenerated young forest, and the juniper is in a state of se...
