Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preventing a fixed bed biomass gasifier from bridging. The lower portion of the biomass gasifier is provided with a gas inlet. A part of a gas inlet pipe penetrates through a high temperature section of the gasifier. A gas outlet is formed in a drying section of the gasifier. During operation, an oxidizing agent is led into the gas inlet and heated in the high temperature section of the gasifier and then flows out of the gas outlet. Biomass nearby the gas outlet starts pyrolysis / gasification under the action of the high-temperature oxidizing agent to damage a generated bridge arch or a bridge arch about to be generated, and meanwhile the gasification load of the gasifier can be increased. A non-mechanical method is adopted to prevent the biomass gasifier from bridging, no moving parts are used, and the method is stable and reliable. Moreover, by slightly reforming an existing fixed bed gasifier, the provided technology can be applied to an existing gasification device.
