Abstract

The invention relates to a microwave phase shifter, in particular to a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) phase shifter based on different filled dielectric constant materials, which comprises a branch circuit 1 and a branch circuit 2, wherein the branch circuit 1 is corresponding to a reference zero phase, the branch circuit 2 is corresponding to degrees needed to shift phases, the air is used as a propagation medium in the branch circuit 1, a SIW body medium material in the branch circuit 2 is used as a propagation medium, the phase positions of substrate integrated waveguides can be changed through the lengths of microstrip lines and the length and the width of SIW, phase shifting amounts produced by the measures can be compensated with each other, and a fixed phase difference is formed in a wideband frequency range by adjusting physical size parameters and filling materials. The SIW phase shifter based on the different filled dielectric constant materials respectively achieves 71.8% (7.55-16GHz, 45 degrees+_3 degrees) and 77.2% (7.35-16.6GHz, 90 degrees+_5.1degrees) of practical bandwidths of 45 degrees and 90 degrees phase shifts, has excellent amplitude consistency, is better than 2dB in insertion loss, and can be conveniently integrated with other plane-type passive and active circuits.
