Embodiment 1

[0038] A total of 180 C57 mice were randomly divided into four groups with 45 mice in each group. They are: blank control group, positive control group, negative control group, and experimental group, in which:

[0039] Blank control group: healthy mice were given a normal diet, injected with PBS equal to the volume of TAA in the experimental group, and not given Lycium barbarum polysaccharide.

[0040] Positive control group: healthy mice were given a normal diet, injected with PBS equal to the volume of TAA in the experimental group, and each mouse was given 5 mg / kg Lycium barbarum polysaccharide per day.

[0041] Negative control group: construct an acute hepatic encephalopathy model, eat a normal diet, inject 400mg / kg TAA once into each mouse, and not give Lycium barbarum polysaccharide.

[0042] Experimental group: Construct acute hepatic encephalopathy model, eat normally, inject 400mg / kg TAA once to each animal, and give 5mg / kg Lycium barbarum polysaccharide to each an...

Embodiment 2

[0048] Example 1 The mice in each group took blood 1 day and 3 days after injection, and detected NH in serum 3 The content of AmmoniaAssay kit (purchased from Sigma, USA) was used for detection. The test results are shown in Table 2:

[0049] Table 2 NH in serum of mice in each group 3 content

[0050]

[0051] Note: * indicates a significant difference compared with the blank control group, p<0.05;

[0052] *** shows a very significant difference compared with the blank control group, p<0.001;

[0053] # shows a significant difference compared with the negative control group, p<0.05.

[0054] NH 3 Elevation will lead to ammonia poisoning. The theory of ammonia poisoning is considered to be one of the main mechanisms of hepatic encephalopathy. When liver function is damaged, blood ammonia rises, and high levels of blood ammonia can enter the brain tissue through the blood-brain barrier and interfere with energy. Metabolism, cause brain dysfunction, induce hepatic enc...

Embodiment 3

[0056] Example 1 The mice in each group were dissected to take the liver 1 day and 3 days after the injection, the liver damage was observed, and the percentage of the liver damage area to the healthy liver area was calculated. The results are shown in Table 3 and Figure 1-a~Figure 1-h :

[0057] Table 3 Liver damage of mice in each group

[0058]

[0059] Note: *** shows a very significant difference compared with the blank control group, p<0.001;

[0060] ## shows a very significant difference compared with the negative control group, p<0.01;

[0061] ### shows a very significant difference compared with the negative control group, p<0.001.

[0062] It can be seen that LBP can significantly improve the inflammatory response and repair the damage caused by hepatic encephalopathy.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of medicines, particularly relates to new application of lycium barbarum polysaccharide, and provides application of lycium barbarum polysaccharide in preparation of drugs for reducing blood ammonia and drugs for treating hepatic encephalopathy. Experiments proof that the lycium barbarum polysaccharide can increase the survival rate of mice with hepatic encephalopathy model mice, and the lycium barbarum polysaccharide can reduce the extent of liver injury in the model mice. The lycium barbarum polysaccharide used in treating of hepatic encephalopathy is rapid in effect and good in security.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to the application of Lycium barbarum polysaccharide in the preparation of medicines for reducing blood ammonia and medicines for treating hepatic encephalopathy. Background technique [0002] Hepatic encephalopathy (Hepatic encephalopathy, HE), also known as portosystemic encephalopathy, is a central nervous system dysfunction syndrome based on metabolic disorders caused by severe liver disease or portosystemic shunt. Common neurologic findings in hepatic encephalopathy include confusion or coma, cognitive impairment detected by specific testing, hyperreflexia, slow monotonous speech, loss of motor skills, asterixis, clonus, cerebral decortication, hyperventilation and seizures etc. Hepatic encephalopathy is the most common cause of death in various end-stage liver diseases clinically. [0003] Hepatic encephalopathy is divided into acute hepatic encephalopathy and chronic hepatic encepha...
