Abstract

The invention discloses an apparatus of generating an atmospheric-pressure uniform plasma brush. The apparatus comprises a discharging portion and a gas supply portion. The discharging portion is formed by a dielectric plate component, a discharging electrode pair, an enhanced electrode pair and an alternating current power supply. The gas supply portion is connected to a rear end port of the dielectric plate component. Besides, the invention also discloses a method of generating the atmospheric-pressure uniform plasma brush. The method comprises the following steps of (1) starting the gas supply portion and providing a working gas for the dielectric plate component; (2) starting the alternating current power supply so that the enhanced electrode pair generates dielectric barrier discharging and the discharging electrode pair generates the dielectric barrier discharging, and then carrying out fine tuning on a voltage and an output frequency of the alternating current power supply so as to generate the stable atmospheric-pressure uniform plasma brush. The apparatus provided in the invention has a simple structure and low cost. By using the apparatus, a generated unit volume plasma brush has a large size, spatial distribution is uniform, a temperature is low and water cooling is not needed. And power consumption of a generated unit volume plasma plume is small so that an advantage is possessed during industrial application.
