Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for culturing Isaria cicadae Miquel by using Tenebrio molitor pupae. The method includes the steps of: (1) preparing an Isaria cicadae Miquel conidia suspension; (2) preparing sterile Tenebrio molitor pupae; (3) infecting Tenebrio molitor pupae with Isaria cicadae Miquel; (4) conducting induced culture on Cordyceps cicadae X.Q.Shing coremium; and (5) conducting culture posttreatment. The method for culturing Isaria cicadae Miquel by using Tenebrio molitor pupae provided by the invention promotes Isaria cicadae Miquel to infect Tenebrio molitor pupae, so as to cultivate Cordyceps cicadae X.Q.Shing coremium. the present invention has the advantages of simple operation and good results, and can be generalized to mass production culture of Isaria cicadae Miquel.
