Abstract

The invention discloses a microbial carrier of thiobacillus denitrificans. The microbial carrier comprises, by weight percentage, 20-30% of sulfur, 15-30% of sodium thiosulfate, 20-30% of limestone, 0.2-0.5% of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 0.3-0.5% of magnesium oxide and the balance of adhesive. The microbial carrier has the advantages that the microbial carrier is large in specific surface area, has a large-pore-volume absorption structure and can carry the thiobacillus denitrificans; the thiobacillus denitrificans is an obligate autotrophic denitrifying bacterium and is capable of removing nitrate nitrogen so as to degrade the total nitrogen in polluted water; the microbial carrier does not need to provide an extra energy source needed by the thiobacillus denitrificans, generation of microorganisms other than the thiobacillus denitrificans is avoided, related problems cannot derive, and the microbial carrier using inorganic matter such as the sulfur and carbonate is low in environment burden as compared with microbial carriers using organic matter; equipment used by the microbial carrier is simple in overall structure and low in operation cost and hardly generates sludge.
