Embodiment

[0123] Synthesis examples, examples and comparative examples of the present invention are given below by way of illustration and not by way of limitation.

Synthetic example 1

[0125] Synthesis of Silicone Acrylate (I)

[0126]In a 2-liter flask equipped with a stirrer, a condenser with a Dean-Stark trap, a dropping funnel and a thermometer, 235 g (0.5 mol) of Methyl Silicate 51 (Colcoat Co., Ltd.), 0.1 g of TBT700 (Nippon Soda Co., Ltd.) and 0.6 g of di-tert-butylhydroxytoluene, and heated to 85°C. To this, 551 g (5 mol) of hydroxyethyl acrylate was added and reacted. Care was taken to distill off methanol (80 g). The reaction mixture was treated under heating and reduced pressure (100° C., 5 mm Hg) for 2 hours to obtain 606 g (yield, 95%) of silicone acrylate (I) as a colorless liquid. The viscosity is 73 mPa·s, the specific gravity is 1.223, the refractive index is 1.4630, and the number of acrylic functional groups included by design per molecule is 10 equivalents.

[0128] Synthesis of Acrylic Polymers

[0129] Synthetic acrylic polymer used as a coating ingredient (β). A 2 liter flask equipped with a stirrer, condenser, dropping funnel and thermometer was charged with 33.7 g of diacetone alcohol and heated to 80° C. under nitrogen flow. Into it were successively dripped portions of both:

[0130] (1) By adding 20 g of γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (available from Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. as "KBM-503"; which corresponds to monomer unit D; monomer The ratio of unit D in the polymer is 20wt%), 2-[2'-hydroxyl-5'-(2-methacryloyloxyethyl) phenyl]-2H-benzotriazole (can be obtained from Otsuka Chemical Co., Ltd. obtained as "RUVA-93"; it corresponds to the monomer unit E; the proportion of the monomer unit E in the polymer is 15% by weight), 60 g of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and 5 g Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) (these correspond to the monomer unit F; the proportion of the monomer unit F in the polymer is 65 wt%), and 140 g of diace...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a coated article manufacturing method, a coating and a laminate. The method of manufacturing the coated article includes the steps of (A) applying a radiation-curable coating which contains a specific siloxane acrylate to an organic resin substrate so as to obtain an uncured film-covered article, and (B) irradiating the uncured film-covered article with radiation to cure the film. The leveling ability of the coating can be improved without diluting the coating more than necessary and without adding more leveling agent than needed.

Description

[0001] Cross References to Related Applications [0002] This nonprovisional application claims priority under 35 U.S.C. §119(a) to Patent Application No. 2015-098093 filed in Japan on May 13, 2015, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated herein by reference . technical field [0003] The present invention relates to a method for producing a coated article, a paint used in such a method, and a laminate including a film obtained from the paint. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing coated articles and a method for improving leveling ability, in which by using a specific silicone acrylate in a radiation-curable paint, effects such as When the amount is reduced, Bernard convection is also suppressed, and a good film appearance can be obtained; a radiation-curable coating used in such a method; and a laminate having an inorganic vapor phase formed on a coated article by a dry film-forming method Deposition layer, the coated artic...
