Abstract

The invention discloses a separating device and separating method of a waste lithium ion battery case and a roll core. The separating method comprises the following steps: cutting a battery to remove a top cap at the top end face; a material-picking manipulator grabbing and clamping the battery through a material-picking telescoping assembly with adjustable length, wherein the top end face of the battery is towards the outside of the manipulator; the material-picking telescoping assembly shrinking a first predetermined distance; an accelerative rotation assembly driving the material-picking manipulator to rotate with a first predetermined angle so as to partially separate the roll core from the shell; a blanking manipulator grabbing partially separated roll core through a blanking telescoping assembly with the adjustable length; the blanking telescoping assembly shrinking a second predetermine distance until the roll core is completely separated from the shell. The separation of the battery shell and the roll core is finished by use of the separating device with simple structure, a feasible scheme is provided for recycling the lithium ion battery, and the recycling of the batteries in different models can be realized through the change of the manipulator.
