In normal driving the automobile, carbon black particles in a stage where an internal combustion engine is activated is stored in a particle filter from the waste gas of the internal combustion engine; in order to filter and regenerate the particles, the particle filter is heated to a regeneration temperature; the motor and the internal combustion engine are connected for regeneration, and, in other words, the motor drives the internal combustion engine and the internal combustion engine is used for conveying the carbon black particles which are used for oxidation and maintained in the particle filter to a waste gas channel.
