[0044] Stool samples were obtained from 73 volunteers [35 from routine physical examination population controls and 38 from gastric cancer patients hospitalized in Shandong Provincial Hospital (Jinan, Shandong)]. All volunteers obtained informed consent before inclusion in the study. Fecal samples were kept in a -80°C freezer for subsequent analytical studies. Abstract

The biological marker represents that enteric micropopulation plays a crucial role in adjusting inflammation and the gastric cancer; a desulfaovibrio affiliated bacterium can effectively serve as a detection marker and a treatment target spot of the gastric cancer; and the gastric cancer can be easily and reliably detected by the marker.
