Abstract

The paper mulch is formed by papermaking of paper pulp prepared from a continuous fiber raw material or the continuous fiber raw material and a staple fiber raw material, wherein the continuous fiber raw material adopts one or a combination of two kinds of banana caulo and pineapple leaves; the staple fiber raw material adopts a combination of water hyacinth and cassava stems or a combination of the water hyacinth, the cassava stems and bagasse or separately adopts the bagasse; and a waterproof agent is fused into paper pulp. According to the preparation method disclosed by the invention, the environmental-friendly degradable agricultural paper mulch is prepared by takingmain agricultural wastes and invasive plants in South China region as raw materials; and the pollution to cultivated land caused by plastic mulch covered cultivation is reduced while the agriculturalwastes or the invasive plants are changed into valuables.
