The variable-flow-velocity polluted-water ecological purification system includes a water inlet pipe, awater distribution area, a fast-stream inner layer area, a slow-stream outer layer area, a water collection area and a water outlet pipe; the water inlet pipe is communicated with the bottom of the water distribution area which is located at the bottom of the fast-stream inner layer area, the water outlet pipe is communicated with the bottom of the water collection area which is located at the bottom of the slow-stream outer layer area, and the fast-stream inner layer area is located inside the slow-stream outer layer area, wherein the water flow direction of the fast-stream inner layer area is upward, the water flow direction of the slow-stream inner layer area is downward, the bottom of the inner layer area is separated from the bottom of the outer layer area, the top of the inner layerarea is communicated with the top of the outer layer area, and the portion between the outer layer area and the inner layer area is filled with particle filter materials.
