Abstract

The invention discloses a flame-retardant environment-friendly material. The flame-retardant environment-friendly material is composed of, by mass, 35 to 45 parts of thermoplastic styrene elastomer, 5to 20 parts of polypropylene, 5 to 10 parts of polyethylene-octylene elastomer, 0.05 to 0.15 part of a coloring agent, 17 to 30 parts of a composite fire retardant, 0.8 to 5 parts of a compound anti-oxidant, 1 to 7 parts of a flexibilizer and 0 to 35 parts of glass fibers. The material provided by the invention is low in metal oxide content, so manufacturing cost is substantially reduced. According to the results of testing of the material by Beijing Testing and Inspection Station for Household Electrical Appliances according to the EU standard IEC60335-1, the material completely meets the severest standard that glowing filament materials with a thickness of 1.5 MM have o open flame at 775 DEG C within 30 seconds, so the usage safety of the material is substantially improved.
