When a single-frequency laser source passes through the twin-core optical fiber, the interference fringes are produced on a receiving screen.When the twin-core optical fiber is bent, optical path difference changes compared with the optical path difference when the fiber is not bent, and accordingly the positions of the highest points ofthe interference fringes displace to form displacement quantities. Therefore, displacement quantities are read from the receiving screen, and the radius of curvature can be derived reversely.
