Abstract

The invention relates to a calibration and compensation method for frequency-dependent IQ mismatch based on FFT operation. The method compensates for the frequency-dependent IQ mismatch in the receiver by adding a digital matched filter to the I or Q channel of the receiver digital baseband in the wireless broadband communication system. Digital matched filter coefficients are obtained by a calibration algorithm, at that transmit, a composite calibration signal at a positive frequency point is transmitted, after the signal is calibrated, the frequency domain signal of each frequency point is obtained by FFT operation in the digital baseband of the receiver, according to the frequency domain signal of the positive frequency point and the frequency domain signal of the mirror negative frequency point, the deviation value of each frequency point to be compensated is calculated in turn, and the frequency domain deviation value is calculated by IFFT to obtain the tap coefficients of the digital matched filter.
