[0024] Antimicrobial peptide PDK160 (NO 2 -AIPIKAIGKAGKLRAINIANFNFLKPKRK-NH 2 ) was synthesized and preserved by our laboratory. Mupirocin and fusidic acid (purchased from Shanghai Anhante Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd.) were used as controls. In the in vitro drug resistance test, gentamicin (purchased from Sangon Bioengineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.) was used as a control antibiotic. The microorganisms used in the present invention were all purchased from the China Industrial Microbiology Culture Collection and Management Center, and the numbers are shown in Table 1. Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of biomedicine and relates to a novel antibacterial peptide and its application. The amino acid sequence of the novel antibacterial peptide is shown in SEQ ID NO:1. The novel antimicrobial peptide of the present invention has broad killing activity on Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, and the potential anti-infection effect has been proved in the excised wound model in mice and the pig skin model in vitro.
