The sandwiched glutinous rice cake includes surface materials and stuffing, wherein a weight ratio of the surface materials to the stuffing is (22 to 26) to (3 to 5); preparation ofthe surface materials includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 4 parts to 7 parts of hydroxypropyl starch, 0.8 part to 1.2 parts of food thickening agent, 5 parts to 7.5 parts of soybean oil, 23 parts to 27 parts of powdered sugar, 5 parts to 6 parts of water, and 130 parts to 140 parts of glutinous rice dumpling; and preparation of the stuffing includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 7 parts to 10 parts of purple sweet potato powder, 2 parts to 5 parts of condensed milk, 1 part to 2 parts of full cream milk powder, 7 parts to 10 parts of butter, 3 parts to 6parts of powdered sugar, 65 parts to 75 parts of cheeses, and 15 parts to 20 parts of glutinous rice paste.
