Abstract

The invention relates to a detection method of measuring total sulfur content in food by using ion chromatography. The method comprises steps of (1) sample pretreatment: A, performing nitric acid digestion on a sample and then heating to dry; B, adding water to dissolve residues, adding a combustion promoter to cover the bottom of a container, adding a Eschka reagent to mix with the combustion promoter fully and then adding EEschka reagent to cover the combustion promoter, then microwave ashing, then dissolving content of microwave ashing and boiling and cooling, and taking supernate and filtering the supernate with a water phase film and then performing ion chromatography detection; and (2) ion chromatography detection: eluting by gradient in a manner of flowing phase: phase A:deionized water and phase D:100mmoL / L of sodium hydroxide. The method is simple, matrix interference is low, and parameters like accuracy, correctness (deviation) and detection limit meet requirements of relatedtechnological standard, so that the method is suitable for detection of total sulfur in food on sale.
