Abstract

The invention relates the technical field of glass fiber processing and disclosing an apparatus for plating a metal layer on surface of glass fibers. The apparatus comprises a machine frame, on whicha processing tank and a cylinder body are fixedly connected. A first guide pipe is connected between the bottoms of the processing tank and the cylinder body. A first one-way valve is arranged on thefirst guide pipe and a second one-way valve is arranged on the cylinder body. A piston is slidingly connected in the cylinder body. A spring is connected between the piston and the cylinder body. A piston rod is fixedly connected to the piston. A support board is rotatably connected to interior of the processing tank. A plurality of first through holes are formed in the support board. A cam is coaxially connected to the support board and is pressed against the piston rod. A cavity is formed in the inner wall of the processing tank. A heating component is disposed in the cavity. A three-way valve and a third one-way valve are disposed on the first guide pipe, wherein the three-way valve is located between the third one-way valve and the cylinder body. A second guide pipe is connected between the three-way valve and the cavity. A second through hole is formed in the upper part of the processing tank. A cleaning mechanism is disposed on the machine frame. The apparatus is used for platingmetal layers on, cleaning and drying glass fibers.
