Abstract

In order to improve the surface lubrication of stainless steel and meanwhile improve the binding capacity of a surface film of the stainless steel, the invention provides a method for oxidizing the surface of a metal material by using an acid solution. Hydroxyl modification is performed on the surface of a stainless steel mesh to improve the surface performance of the stainless steel mesh. According to the method, the stainless steel surface is cleaned and activated through plasma cleaning, some protruding impurities on the surface are etched away, the roughness of the whole surface is reduced, and the abrasion resistance of a base body is improved; and after oxygen ion etching, an oxide layer is easily obtained on the surface of a grid structure in the early stage of acid pickling, so that electrochemical corrosion of base metal is effectively prevented before acid solution treatment, and the surface roughness of the matrix metal is changed.
