Abstract

The invention provides a low-damage plant xylem juice sampling method which comprises the following steps: observing the microstructure of the cross section of a plant stem through a scanning electronmicroscope, and determining the distribution characteristic, structural characteristic and geometric dimension of xylem on the cross section of the stem; determining the position and the depth of a plant stalk incision by combining the sampling requirement with the distribution characteristics, the structural characteristics and the geometric dimension of the xylem; according to the incision position and depth determined in the second step, rapidly cutting a groove in the plant stem through the disinfected blade; sucking xylem juice overflowing from the notch below the groove by using a pipettor, transferring the juice into a sample tube, collecting sufficient xylem juice samples, and putting the samples into liquid nitrogen for subsequent experiments; treating plant stalk wounds, and increasing the recovery speed.
