Abstract

The invention discloses a method for promoting growth of strawberries and a biological material used therefor. A technical solution to be protected by the invention is the application of a strawberryprotein in regulating plant growth, the protein is named SnRK2.1 protein, and the protein can be protein with the amino acid sequence shown as SEQ ID No.1 in a sequence table. Experiments have provedthat, compared with strawberries transformed with only pH7WG2D,1 empty vector, the plant height and crown diameter of the strawberries transformed with SnRK2.1 gene are significantly increased, the plant height is increased by 76.95% and the crown diameter is increased by 86.02% when the strawberries grow for 8 weeks, which indicates that the SnRK2.1 protein plays an important role in strawberry plant growth and can be used to improve strawberry quality.
