Abstract

The invention discloses application of OsWRKY53 in forward regulation of a BR signal, and relates to molecular mechanism analysis of forward regulation of the BR signal and rice plant type by OsWRKY53. The invention aims to clarify the molecular mechanism of the OsWRKY53 for positively regulating the rice plant type. A BR signal negative regulation factor OsGSK2 is directly combined with OsWRKY53 and phosphorylated, so that the protein stability of the OsWRKY53 is reduced, and the BR signal is negatively regulated. A BR signal positive regulation factor OsBZR1 is combined with the OsWRKY53 to cooperatively regulate expression of BR downstream related genes and positively regulate the BR signal through a parallel genetic relationship. The OsWRKY53 is applied to the field of rice plant type breeding.
