[0069] 1. Introduction to the basic information of the apple ion transporter MdCAX2L-1 gene
[0070] We cloned the gene coding sequence of MdCAX2L-1 in the previous research, and submitted it to the international public database (NCBI database, gene ID: MT820134). The complete open reading frame of the gene is 1302bp long, encoding 433 amino acids, the predicted protein molecular weight is 47.86kDa, and the isoelectric point is 5.0. By comparing with the gene structure of Arabidopsis AtCAX2, it is found that the two have similar gene structure, except for the first exon, the remaining 10 exons of MdCAX2L-1 are exactly the same in length as the corresponding exons in AtCAX2 ( figure 1 , Figure A). A comparison of the conserved domains of the protein sequences showed that the MdCAX2L-1 protein contained a CaCA family conserved domain (Na_Ca_ex), which was similar to the AtCAX2 protein ( figure 1 , Figure B).
