[0069] 1. Introduction of the basic information of the apple ion transporter MdCAX2L-1 gene
[0070] We cloned the gene coding sequence of MdCAX2L-1 in the previous study and submitted it to the international public database (NCBI database, gene ID: MT820134). The complete open reading frame of the gene is 1302bp in length, encoding 433 amino acids, the predicted protein molecular weight is 47.86kDa, and the isoelectric point is 5.0. By comparing with the gene structure of Arabidopsis AtCAX2, it is found that the two have similar gene structures. Except for the first exon, the other 10 exons of MdCAX2L-1 are exactly the same as the corresponding exons in AtCAX2 ( figure 1 , Figure A). The comparison of the conserved domains of the protein sequence indicated that the MdCAX2L-1 protein contains a CaCA family conserved domain (Na_Ca_ex), which is similar to the AtCAX2 protein ( figure 1 , Figure B).
