The preparation method comprises the following steps: putting a certain amount of waste rubber particles into a hot sodium hydroxide solution, stirring, soaking, filtering and washing to obtain clean rubber particles; secondly, putting the clean rubber particles into hydrogen peroxide, heating to react, filtering, and drying to obtain oxidized rubber particles; then, spraying a tetra(triethanolamine) zirconium solution to the surfaces of the oxidized rubber particles, and heating to react to prepare zirconium ester coupled rubber particles; and finally, putting the zirconium ester coupled rubber particles into a water-based acrylic emulsion, adding a nano-particle pigment, reacting under stirring, filtering and drying to obtain the modified rubber particles for a plastic track.
