Abstract

The invention provides a copolyester polymer for a polyester fiber which is capable of dyeing at a temperature lower than that of conventional polyester fiber, while maintaining its intrinsic mechanical properties. The copolyester polymer has the glass transition temperature(Tg) of 330 to 350K, the melting temperature(Tm) of 510 to 525K and Tm / Tg of 1.51 to 1.55, and is prepared by the polymerization process using a terephthalic acid as main materials.
