Abstract

The process of eliminating vinyl acetate resin from chromium containing waste liquid includes the following successive steps: adding cyanoguanidine cation flocculant into chromium containing waste liquid; stirring for certain time to obtain resin containing solid mixture; and filtering to separate the resin containing solid mixture. During the process, the flocculant is first made to produce complexing reaction with six-valent chromium ion in the water liquid to form macromolecular complex, vinyl acetate resin is then demulsified and separated and the separated vinyl acetate resin is finally eliminated via filtering. The process needs no special apparatus and may be completed simply at normal temperature and normal pressure without secondary pollution.
