The fuel additive of the present invention includes igniting promoter di-tert-butyl peroxide 5-30 wt%, tert-butyl hydroperoxide 5-35 wt%, superox 736 2-20 wt%, dicumyl peroxide 2-20 wt%, cumene hydroperoxide 2-20 wt%, antidetonator ethanol 5-30 wt%, methanol 1-10 wt%, methyl tertiary pentyl ether 5-20 wt%, and ferrocene 1-10 wt%.
