Problems solved by technology

[0005] On the other hand, as an example of improving compliance with liquid preparations, no effective method can be found other than general methods such as adding sweeteners
Although a method utilizing gelation is also disclosed (JP-A-2001-226293), it is presumed that the bioavailability decreases and the efficacy of the drug slows down due to the inhibition of the dissolution of active ingredients showing bitter taste in this method.

Embodiment 1

[0031] Embodiment 1 (isosorbide+agar+additive)

[0032] Add 1.2g of agar, 0.24g of citric acid, 0.48g of anhydrous disodium hydrogen phosphate and 0.6g of sodium saccharin into about 60ml of water, heat and stir at 90-100°C for a few minutes to dissolve. Then add 140g of isosorbide several times in small amounts to make it dissolve, then add 0.4g of cocoa powder and 0.2g of chocolate essence, mix evenly, fill into a cup, and cool to normal temperature.

Embodiment 2

[0033] Embodiment 2 (isosorbide+agar)

[0034] Add 1.2 g of agar to about 60 ml of water, heat and stir at 90 to 100° C. for several minutes to dissolve. Then add isosorbide 140g several times in small amounts to make it dissolve, mix evenly and fill into cups, and cool to normal temperature.

Embodiment 3

[0035] Embodiment 3 (isosorbide+(agar+carrageenan)+additive)

[0036] Add 1.2g of agar, 0.6g of carrageenan, 0.6g of disodium hydrogen phosphate, 0.1g of sodium dihydrogen phosphate, 0.03g of potassium chloride and 0.6g of sodium saccharin into about 60ml of water, and heat and stir at 90-100°C for several Minutes, dissolve. Then add 140g of isosorbide several times in small amounts to make it dissolve, then add 0.4g of cocoa powder and 0.2g of chocolate essence, mix evenly, fill into a cup, and cool to normal temperature.

Abstract

An isosorbide preparation as a therapeutic agent for Meniere's disease that is improved with respect to administrability properties, such as bitterness, without detriment to the requisite performance of rapid efficacy exertion. There is provided an isosorbide-containing jelly preparation characterized by containing not only isosorbide but also agar. Preferably, cacao powder is further contained. The amount of agar added is preferably in the range of 0.3 to 2 w / w% based on the whole of jelly preparation. Further, there is provided a process for producing an isosorbide-containing jelly preparation, characterized by comprising mixing together at least agar, isosorbide and water, heating for dissolution and cooling to room temperature or below.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention is an invention in the field of pharmaceuticals, and relates to a preparation of isosorbide which has a strong bitter taste and is difficult to take. technical background [0002] Isosorbide is a drug for the treatment of Meniere's disease. It is rapidly absorbed from the digestive tract. Because it cannot be metabolized in the body, the serum osmotic pressure increases. As a result, the drug exhibits a diuretic action, an intracranial pressure-lowering action, an intraocular pressure-lowering action, and an endolymphatic pressure-lowering action. In addition, isosorbide is often taken immediately after the onset of vertigo and other symptoms of Meniere's disease, so it is necessary to exert the drug effect quickly after taking it. After general medicine is taken, it is dissolved and absorbed in the digestive tract to exert its medicinal effect. Therefore, in order for isosorbide to exert its medicinal effect quickly, it must be ...
