This invention discloses a
urine collection device for
nephrology testing, relating to the field of
medical device technology. The device includes a housing, a
urine collection funnel, a sample box, and a segmented sampling mechanism. The
urine collection funnel is detachably mounted at the mounting port on the top of the housing, and the sample box is detachably connected to the bottom. The segmented sampling mechanism and a partition are located inside the housing. A
guide tube of the segmented sampling mechanism penetrates the partition and extends into the sample box. The segmented sampling mechanism includes a diversion funnel, a primary collection chamber, and a secondary collection chamber. The diversion funnel contains a segmentation platform, a float, and other structures, which, together with the
guide tube, valve, and knob, enable segmented collection and
discharge of urine. The
urine collection funnel has a detachable splash guard, and the outer side of the housing is fitted with an adjustable grip mechanism. The sample box has a transparent, non-slip design. This device can accurately obtain
midstream urine, effectively avoiding urine splashing and
sample contamination. It is easy to operate, has good sealing properties, reduces the
risk of infection, improves testing efficiency and accuracy, and meets the
urine collection needs of clinical
nephrology testing.
