A vacuum container for preserving food is disclosed herein that includes a cover member for covering an upper part of a container member in which food is filled, a piston member equipped with the cover member and ascending and descending movable, and first and second valve members that alternately operate by a pumping operation using ascending and descending operation of the piston member to make a suction aperture and an exhaust aperture alternately open and close, thus discharging air from within the container member. Such operation allows the interior of the container member to become a vacuum state, thereby allowing food within the container member to be preserved for a longer time period, in a more sanitary manner, and a simple manufacture and a low manufacturing cost to provide users with convenience.

An elastomeric closure (10) having an internal barrier film (16) is provided. The elastomeric closure includes a top portion (12) and a bottom portion (14) formed together with a barrier film (16) disposed between the top and bottom portions. The barrier film may span the overall length and width of the elastomeric closure and preferably includes an aluminum foil as the barrier film material.

A needle safety guard device adapted to attach to a liquid container is provided. The device includes a disk-shaped shield having a medial opening connected with a radial opening between two radial edges. The device also includes a substantially U-shaped holder having two sidewalls coupled substantially perpendicular to the disk-shaped shield along the two radial edges, and a top cover connecting to the two sidewalls and extending from the shield above the radial opening. The U-shaped holder includes a wedged protrusion and a curved protrusion extending from each of the two sidewalls, the curved protrusion being between the top cover and the wedged protrusion for blocking a cap of the liquid container from moving toward the medial opening.

A two-piece seal vial assembly. The first piece is a vial defining an aperture adapted to contain a liquid. The vial has a base, a crown disposed opposite the base, and an upright side wall extending from the base to the crown and including a tapered inner diameter and a flange located proximate the crown. The second piece is a seal top defining an opening that runs through the length of the seal top. The seal top has a top portion providing a neck finish and, when the seal top and the vial are assembled, a snap groove releasably receiving the flange of the vial and a tapered portion that frictionally engages the tapered inner diameter of the vial. Although not one of the two main components of the assembly, a cap may be included to releasably engage the neck finish of the seal top to close the seal top.

The invention relates to a container and a manufacturing method. The container comprises a body, an inner plug, and a cover body. The body is made of glass and is provided with an opening. The inner plug is clamped in the opening. The cover body covers the opening and the inner plug, and is provided with a groove. The inner plug is clamped in the groove. The container and the method solve problems that learning sealing mechanism of the glass container cannot be carried out in aseptic conditions, and sealing property of the container and food security of drink are improved.

A two-piece seal vial assembly. The first piece is a vial defining an aperture adapted to contain a liquid. The vial has a base, a crown disposed opposite the base, and an upright side wall extending from the base to the crown and including a tapered inner diameter and a flange located proximate the crown. The second piece is a seal top defining an opening that runs through the length of the seal top. Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method of increasing advertising space on various product packaging by increasing the graphic space on and apparent volume of the packaging, such as those used for cosmetics and toiletries. Preferred embodiments include a product packaging with a partially or completely recessed container closure. Further preferred embodiments include a container closure that is threaded, fused, or snapped in to the body of the container. Embodiments of the invention can be modified to accommodate existing products or provide a unique package design for emerging products.

The bottle plug comprises an elastic bottle plug body for sealing a bottleneck of a sample bottle, and a pressure applying component which is arranged in the elastic bottle plug body and is provided with an inner channel, wherein a sample injection needle of the automatic sample injector can puncture the elastic bottle plug body; the pressure applying component can move from an initial sealing position to a communicating position under the action of the sample injection needle; furthermore, after the sample injection needle is taken out, the pressure applying component is reset to the initial sealing device; when the pressure applying component is positioned at the communicating position, the volume in the sample bottle can be compressed, so that the sample injection needle can be allowed to sample a gas sample in the sample bottle through the inner channel. The bottle plug can perform automatic sampling on gas, meet a requirement on large detection quantity of geochemical exploration gas samples and realize quick and accurate sampling and gas sample analysis.
