A modular raceway system for any combination of high voltage power lines and low voltage data communication lines uses a combination hinge-latch cover member and a single piece base member. A pressure barrier apparatus 2 for providing a removable pressure barrier in a borehole is described. The apparatus comprises a housing 6, 8 defining a central bore 10 having a first part 20 and a second part 22 separated by an erodeable pressure barrier member 18. The housing also defines a second fluid flow passage 12 for connecting the first part to the second part, and a plurality of conduits 24 for directing fluid onto the barrier member. A head strap assembly with tri-glide adjustment mechanisms extends from the sides and top of the main body mounting plate, allowing the device to fit most head sizes. The mounting plate is preferably an injection-molded part for holding the electronic device in a horizontal position with an elastic retention strap securing mechanism between the mounting plate and the electronic device. An elastic strap extends from an upending portion of the mounting plate, wraps around the electronic device, extends through a slot in the mounting plate, and fastens back upon itself via hook and loop fasteners to capture the device in landscape orientation. The design of the mounting plate and preferred length of the retention strap fit most modern smartphone designs by simply tightening the retention strap around the smartphone.

Embodiments of the invention provide an energy conveying structure for delivering RF and/or microwave energy to an electrosurgical instrument, where the energy conveying structure is incorporated into an insertion tube of a surgical scoping device (e.g. endoscope, laparoscope or the like). The insertion tube is a flexible conduit that is introduced into a patient's body during an invasive procedure, and can include an instrument channel and an optical channel. The energy conveying structure may be a layered coaxial structure that formed a liner that fits within the scoping device, e.g. within an instrument channel. Alternatively, the energy conveying structure may be a coaxial structure integrally formed as part of the flexible conduit.

The disclosure provides an LED light system that is easy to install and customizable by the user. The LED lighting system may be plugged directly into an existing power source. In one configuration, the system includes a power supply that accepts standard power inputs. A low voltage low voltage bus line extends from the power supply. The user may connect LED light modules at essentially any location along a low voltage bus line of the system so that the light modules are located exactly where the user desires light. Uneven spacing is possible. Different size lights, different lumen powers, and different-colored light modules may be disposed along the low voltage bus line. Security features may be used to reduce the value of the system components to a thief.

A retaining device configured for retaining at least one medical device adjacent to a supporting surface. The retaining device includes a plate shaped holding portion defining a peripheral edge, a slot extending from the peripheral edge defining a loading channel, and communicating with an internal holding area. The internal holding area is dimensioned to accept the largest medical device the retaining device is configured to be used with. An attachment mechanism is connected to the holding portion to secure the retaining device to a supporting surface. A section of medical device may be inserted into and along the loading channel to enter the holding area and be retained within.

A sleeper apparatus for holding an infant designed to simulate the feeling of being held in a caregiver's arms is herein disclosed. The sleeper is similar in shape to that of a canoe and is able to accommodate most infants via a removable insert section. The insert may be added or removed, depending on the size of the infant. The sleeper is made using padded foam materials and comprises an air bladder located along an inside wall of a perimeter enclosure. The bladder is connected to a DC-powered air pump, which pumps air in and out of the bladder to simulate human breathing. The inner space of the sleeper is contoured to conform to the babies shape. The head area is larger with minimal padding to provide for unobstructed and clear breathing. The foot area is slightly declined and would be provided with additional padding. The sleeper provides a comforting and secure resting place for infants.

A user object securing assembly for securing a user manipulative object such as user interface at a user-accessible area of a user-wearable garment. The assembly includes a flap having a first edge for joining to the user-accessible area of the garment to form a generally horizontal hinge line, and a second, opposite, edge which may be free. A user object securing device is connected to the flap between those edges, the flap being swingable about the hinge line between a closed position wherein the flap lies against the garment and an open position wherein the flap extends away from the garment with the securing device facing upward. A fastening device releasably fastens the flap in its closed position. The user manipulative object may include a user interface such as a cell phone or the like, as well as other such objects including a billfold, wallet, credit card holder, coin carrier and the like.

A modular fuel reservoir assembly for incorporation into a vehicle fuel tank includes a fuel reservoir, a fuel pump, a fuel filter and a retainer. The retainer is formed of an electrically conductive material and includes integrally formed and electrically conductive fuel supply and fill tubes fluidly interconnected at the open bottom ends thereof by a jet pump. The reservoir includes an internal vertical column through which the supply and fill tubes freely extend such that the jet pump is located adjacent the open bottom of the reservoir column. Fuel from the tank and bypass fuel from the reservoir travel through the fill tube and empty back into the reservoir until all fuel in the tank is depleted.

A user interface securing assembly for securing a user interface at the front of a user-wearable garment. The assembly includes a flap having a first edge for joining to the front of the garment to form a generally horizontal hinge line, and a second, opposite, edge which may be free. A user interface securing device is connected to the flap between those edges, the flap being swingable about the hinge line between a closed position wherein the flap lies against the garment and an open position wherein the flap extends away from the garment with the securing device facing upward. A fastening device releasably fastens the flap in its closed position.

An animal guard with a multitude of rotatable elements that can be securely mounted on a generally vertical or horizontal structure is disclosed. The rotatable elements may be of varying shapes and are designed to provide an unsteady footing for animals attempting to cross the object to continue travel along the structure. In accordance with one embodiment, the animal guard is configured to surround a vertically-extending structure. A series of hollow rotatable elements, or "spinners", are provided with a hole formed at opposing longitudinal ends. The spinners are bifurcated into two generally equal halves that attach together. A guard plate is mounted to surround the structure and has a series of cross arm brackets which extend through the end holes of the spinners to serve as end axles for rotation and to position the spinners around the circumference of the structure. A support means secures the location of the guard plate and spinners and couples the guard plate to the structure. Another embodiment of the animal guard inhibits animal passage along generally horizontal structures, such as cables, lines and wires. A series of hollow rotatable spinners are provided with a hole formed at opposing longitudinal ends. The spinners are bifurcated into two generally equal halves that attach together to secure the spinners around a horizontal structure. End shields are configured with a hole extending laterally therethrough to mount the end shields onto an end section of the spinners; one end shield is positioned at each of the opposite ends of a series of spinners. A gripping means is positioned adjacent to the end shields at the opposite end of the series of spinners to grip the horizontal structure and hold the end shields and spinners at fixed positions horizontally along the line.

A wire connection terminal structure includes a leaf spring, a conductive plate and a fixing frame framing and connecting with the leaf spring and the conductive plate. The conductive plate is formed with a base section assembled with the fixing frame. The leaf spring is formed with an elastic swingable holding section extending to a position in contact with the base section. The holding section and the base section define therebetween an elastic holding mouth. A convertible towel, for use by a user having a shoulder and a waist. The convertible towel includes a towel portion and a shoulder strap. The towel portion is selectively folded longitudinally and maintained in that once folded position by a zipper, then folded transversely and maintained in that twice folded position by secondary fasteners, and then folded transversely and maintained in that thrice folded position by primary fasteners. The thrice-folded towel portion is in a compact rectangular form that is then connected to the shoulder strap so that it can be carried by the user in a hands-free manner. In the compact rectangular form, multiple storage compartments are provided that are selectively accessible by the zipper. The shoulder strap preferably includes a fanny pack for containing personal items, such that the shoulder strap may be detached from the towel portion and extended around the waist of the user.

A connector for interconnecting a waveguide with a light component (e.g., another waveguide) for allowing light communication therebetween. Assemblies for connecting a waveguide can be formed with the connector. In one embodiment, the connector is employed for connecting to a waveguide useful in performing medical applications such as provision of photodynamic therapy.

A system for displaying self-winding watches especially adapted for use in a retail store environment, includes a base and a plurality of watch-winders for holding self-winding watches, disposed on the base. Each of the watch-winders is selectively removable from the base, but is held in position on the base by tiles that are placed between the watch-winders to hold the watch-winders in a fixed relationship to one another. In one embodiment the base has only a single horizontal plane. In another embodiment, the base may be stepped to include a plurality of horizontal planes, arranged in a stair step-like fashion. The tiles are either fixable to the base by adhesive or some other suitable fastener, or are held in position upon the base by a raised edge running along the periphery of the base.

A retention pin for fastening retaining lugs of an outer sidewall, of a turbine nozzle, within a groove between a forward land and an aft land of a retaining ring. The retention pins fit through coaxial holes in the lug and the lands, securing the radial and circumferential location of the nozzles as well as allowing transitional motion. While maintaining limited contact with both the nozzles and the retaining ring they significantly reduce conductive heat transfer from the nozzle to the retaining ring. By positioning the nozzles, they also set the desired nozzle throat areas for targeted turbine performance. The pins have been designed such that the nozzle cannot disengage within the assembly due to the pin backing out of its nominal axial position, and the pin will not fail due to low cycle fatigue, creep, or yielding, all of which prevent nozzle fallout.
