Abstract

The invention provides methanol gasoline and a method for making the same, relating to energy conservation and environmental protection methanol gasoline and a method for making the same. The gasoline of the invention consists of following components in percentage by volume: 50 to 85 percent of commercial gasoline with national standard, 14.5 to 48 percent of industrial methanol, the water content of which is 2 to 5 percent, and 0.5 to 2.0 percent of a complex additive combined by 5 substances. The method of the invention comprises the following steps of: firstly, the complex additive is prepared; secondly, the denatured methanol is prepared and finally, finished products are obtained by adding the denatured methanol in the commercial gasoline with national standard. The gasoline of the invention is good in stability, and the stable phase is as long as one year; the gasoline has the corrosivity lowered by 15 percent and the HC emission quantity lowered by 10 to 30 percent; the octane value is as high as 99, and the ignition quality is good; moreover, the method of the invention is simple and low in production cost. The gasoline of the invention can be widely applied to cars using gasoline as fuel and engines of the cars do not need to be modified. The method of the invention can be widely applied to the preparation of No. 90, No. 93 and No. 97 commercial water contained methanol gasoline with national standard.
