Example Embodiment

[0009] As shown in the figure, the terahertz wave emitted by the high-power back-wave oscillator in the electro-optical heterodyne detection type terahertz wave fast two-dimensional imaging device is collimated and focused by the focus, and then enters the first beam splitter. The terahertz wave is divided into two paths. One of the terahertz waves is irradiated on the object to be measured through the scanner, and reflected or scattered by the object to be measured, then reflected by the scanner and the first piece of ITO crystal to the first electro-optical heterodyne detector Above, the other terahertz wave is used as a reference and reflected by the second ITO crystal to the second electro-optical heterodyne detector; the laser output from the mode-locked laser is also divided into two paths through the second beam splitter, one of which passes through the first The ITO crystal is irradiated on the first electro-optical heterodyne detector, and the first terahertz wave heterod...

Abstract

The invention discloses an electrooptic heterodyne detection typed quick two-dimensional terahertz wave imaging device. The whole imaging device mainly comprises a high-power backward-wave oscillator (BWO), a ZnTe electrooptic crystal, a mode-locked laser, a photosensitive diode array and a high-speed phase locking amplifier. The BWO with high output power is taken as a continuous terahertz radiation source and combined with the femtosecond mode-locked laser so as to realize the electrooptic heterodyne detection of THz intensity signals; a polyhedral tilting mirror is adopted for realizing line scanning and combined with pendulum mirror frame scanning so as to realize high-speed image scanning; a terahertz scanning system with separated optical shaft and receiving optical shaft is adopted and combined with a technique with synchronous scanning view field and receiving view field so as to realize image obtaining with the high speed of 1 frame in 2 seconds and the high signal-to-noise ratio of over 40 dB. The system has the advantages that the system can overcome the system measurement influence that is caused by unstable output of the terahertz radiation source, and has quick imaging speed, high working stability and large dynamic range.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of terahertz wave applications, in particular to an electro-optical heterodyne detection type terahertz wave rapid two-dimensional imaging device. Background technique [0002] The special band of THz wave has the characteristics of both microwave and light, such as can penetrate many non-polar materials, can be collimated and focused well, and has high time and space resolution, etc. These characteristics make THz imaging, a non-destructive testing technology, has good application prospects in material defect detection, production line quality inspection and control, biological tissue diagnosis and safety inspection, etc. Although terahertz imaging technology has made great progress, the lack of a real-time fast terahertz imaging system with a large dynamic range has always been the most important factor limiting its application, and has also attracted great attention internationally. For example, in the t...
