Embodiment Construction

[0021] Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings

[0022] Such as figure 1 As shown, the single-camera binocular wide-baseline catadioptric panoramic stereoscopic imaging method is: the first catadioptric reflector and the second catadioptric reflector are coaxially placed opposite each other, and the first catadioptric reflector refracts or reflects the full view observed from the first viewpoint. To the scene light beam, the second catadioptric reflector refracts or reflects the omnidirectional scene light beam observed from the second viewpoint; the optical path diverter is placed in the center of the first catadioptric reflector and the second catadioptric reflector and connected The second catadioptric reflector is coaxial; the light beam deflected by the first catadioptric reflector and the second catadioptric reflector is in the same direction; the image imager captures the light beam def...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for realizing omnidirectional stereo imaging by using a single camera and a device thereof. A first catadioptric device and a second catadioptric device are coaxially arranged in opposite directions; the first catadioptric device refracts or reflects an omnidirectional scene beam observed from a first view point, and the second catadioptric device refracts or reflects an omnidirectional scene beam observed from a second view point; a light path redirector is placed in the center between the first catadioptric device and the second catadioptric device and is coaxial with the first catadioptric device and the second catadioptric device; the light path redirector deflects the beams reflected by the first catadioptric device and the second catadioptric device in the same direction; an imager captures the beams deflected by the light path redirector to form an image and outputs a first view image and a second view image with the same resolution. The method and the device thereof have the advantages of wide baseline, the same resolution of image pairs, high real-time, high extraction accuracy of stereoscopic depth, simple matching algorithm of stereo image pairs, wide range of application, and the like.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to stereoscopic imaging technology, in particular to a single-camera binocular wide-baseline catadioptric panoramic stereoscopic imaging method and device thereof. Background technique [0002] Conventional optical imaging systems have a small field of view and can only record the light intensity information of the scene, so the reproduced scene lacks immersion and three-dimensionality. In recent years, due to the development of machine vision and virtual reality technology, the demand for stereo perception and reproduction of large scenes has been enhanced. Driven by the development of optoelectronics, computer vision and computer graphics, panoramic stereo imaging technology has emerged. [0003] Panoramic stereo imaging is to obtain two panoramic images by imaging the same scene from two viewpoints, and extract the depth information in the scene by using the principle of binocular vision. Conventional panoramic stereoscopic im...
