Abstract

The invention relates to a system and a method for controlling traction of an intermittent packaging machine for making bags by plastic film. The system comprises a rotary encoder, a color scale sensor, a paper letting-off sensor, a paper letting-off driver, a vertical-seal drawing roller start sensor, a vertical-seal drawing roller driver, a computer and a system controller; the parameters of the set dimensions of a packing material are input by the corresponding function light touch keys of the system controller during working hours and are stored into a memory of the system; a main motor of a packing machine runs; a computer of the system receives tested information; a vertical-seal drawing roller executes operations such as bag drawing, paper feeding, bag length error compensating, and the like; a feeding device executes the material filling operation; a paper letting-off device executes the paper letting-off operation; and the processes are repeated again and again, so as to finish the overall process of bag making, filling and encapsulating. The system adopts a common alternating current machine for realizing the traction to the packing material with fixed length or the cursor tracking and positioning control, thereby having simple structure, less system configuration parts, convenient and fast equipment assembly, debug and maintenance and low matched production cost.
