Abstract

The natural-draught brine cooling tower comprises a drift eliminator, a water distribution device, a stuffing area, a lambada-shaped support, a water collecting tank, a tower casing and a brine temperature-concentration control device. The brine is heated by a waste heat source, and the hot brine is sent to the water distribution device in the tower casing through an intake and riser pipe. The hot brine is uniformly sprayed on the stuffing by the water distribution device and exchanges heat with the intake air from the lambada-shaped support at the lower part of the tower casing, and the temperature and the concentration of the brine are adjusted to enable the saturated evaporation pressure to be matched with the vapor partial pressure in the air so as to restrain the evaporation and the loss of the water, thereby achieving the purpose of saving water. After cooled, the brine enters the water collecting tank, and returns to the waster heat source via a circulation brine pump for further circulation.
