Abstract

The invention relates to a preparation method of a zinc anode of a secondary alkaline battery which takes a potassium hydroxide solution as electrolyte. The method is characterized in that an alkyl silanol compound is added in zinc gel. By using the electrode prepared by adopting the method, the phenomenon that the anode is dried-up resulting from the lack of electrolyte as a thickening agent is gradually destroyed due to the increase of cycle frequency is overcome and also the demixing problem of zinc and zincate in the zinc anode is solved. The cyclic performance of the zinc gel anode prepared by adopting the method is improved by 20-30 percent in a secondary alkaline magnesium battery compared with the zinc anode which does not contain the alkyl silanol; and the improvement is more remarkable along with the increase of the circle frequency.
