Problems solved by technology

[0007]Currently commercial high-strength wrought magnesium alloys mainly refer to Mg-Zn-Zr alloys, whose biggest feature is high strength, generally at 320-340 MPa, but Relatively low plasticity limits its range of applications
At present, most of the research work on the heat treatment process is concentrated on the Mg-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy after extrusion, rolling and forging deformation, but there are few studies on the optimization of the heat treatment process of the as-cast Mg-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy.

Embodiment 1

[0025] A heat treatment method for simultaneously improving the strength and plasticity of a magnesium alloy, the heat treatment process comprising the following steps:

[0026] (1) Magnesium alloy raw materials used: common commercial Mg-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy ingots are used as raw materials, and the alloy composition (mass percentage content) is: 6.37%Zn, 0.53%Zr, Fe, Si, Ni, Cu, etc. The impurity element is 0.0101%, and the rest is Mg;

[0027] (2) Solution treatment process: the semi-continuously prepared magnesium alloy ingot was cast at 400 0 C solid solution treatment, heat preservation for 10 hours, water quenching and cooling to room temperature;

[0028] (3) Aging treatment process: the magnesium alloy after solid solution treatment at 150 0 C aging, keep warm for 15 hours, then air cool to room temperature.

[0029] figure 1 It is the as-cast structure of ZK60 magnesium alloy. It can be seen from the figure that a large number of coarse eutectic structures are d...

Embodiment 2

[0032] The same magnesium alloy raw material and magnesium alloy solid solution process as in Example 1 are used, and the process parameters are completely the same. After solution treatment, the same 150 0 C aging treatment, the difference is that the holding time is extended to 30 hours, and finally air-cooled to room temperature.

[0033] Scanning photos of the Mg-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy microstructural structure processed through embodiment 2 are as image 3 As shown, a large number of fine precipitates (MgZn and MgZn 2 ) particles are more evenly distributed inside the grains or around the grain boundaries, and the density of the precipitated phase is significantly higher than that of the magnesium alloy in Example 1, but its grain size is comparable to that of Example 1. The comprehensive mechanical properties of the magnesium alloy in this embodiment are further improved, and the tensile stress-strain curve is as follows Figure 5 As shown, the yield strength is 141 MP...

Embodiment 3

[0035] The same magnesium alloy raw material and magnesium alloy solid solution process as in Examples 1 and 2 are used, and the process parameters are completely the same. After solution treatment, aging treatment is also carried out, the difference is that the process parameters become: 200 0 C aging, heat preservation for 15 hours, and finally air-cooled to room temperature.

[0036]The scanning microstructure photograph of Mg-Zn-Zr magnesium alloy in the present embodiment is as Figure 4 As shown, the coarse eutectic structure in the as-cast state has been dissolved, and its grains and figure 2 , 3 There is little difference, indicating that the aging temperature from 150 0 C raised to 200 0 C has no obvious effect on the grain size of magnesium alloy. There are also high-density precipitates distributed in the material, which play a strengthening role. Finally, the yield strength of the magnesium alloy in this example is 143 MPa, the tensile strength is 280 MPa, an...

Abstract

The invention provides a heat treatment process for simultaneously improving the strength and the plasticity of a magnesium alloy, comprising the following steps of: carrying out solid solution on a magnesium alloy casting ingot prepared by utilizing a semicontinuous casting process at 360-4,000 DEG C, preserving the temperature for 8-12h, carrying out water quenching and cooling to room temperature, then heating the magnesium alloy treated by the technical scheme to 150-2,000 DEG C, ageing, preserving the temperature for 15-30h, and air-cooling to the room temperature. The heat treatment process of the invention can remarkably improve the room temperature yield strength, the tensile strength and the plasticity of the magnesium alloy material and can solve the contradiction of the strength and the plasticity of the magnesium alloy. The magnesium alloy treated by the heat treatment process can provide an important basis for the subsequent high-strength and high-plasticity deformed magnesium alloy and benefits to the full development of the use performance potential of the material. In addition, the invention has the advantages of simple equipment and lower cost and is easy to operate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a heat treatment process for magnesium alloy materials, in particular to a heat treatment process for simultaneously improving the strength and plasticity of magnesium alloy materials. [0002] Background technique [0003] Magnesium alloys have the advantages of low density, high specific strength and specific stiffness, strong damping, vibration and noise reduction capabilities, excellent electromagnetic shielding performance, excellent liquid forming performance, excellent casting and cutting performance, rich resources, and can be recycled. People attach great importance to it, and it is known as "21st century green engineering material". And the third largest metal material after aluminum alloy. [0004] However, the current application of magnesium alloys in my country is far less than that of aluminum alloys discovered in the same period. When the temperature rises, its strength and creep resistance tend to drop signif...
