Abstract

The invention relates to a method for testing air permeability of a surfactant for aerated concrete building blocks, which comprises the following steps: placing an aerated concrete sample block into water for absorbing water till the sample block is saturate; wiping the water on the surface of the sample block and standing the sample block for 2-5 hours for drying the surface of the sample block; coating the surfactant on the whole surface of the sample block, wherein no water leaves on the surface of the sample block after the sample block is statically placed and the thickness of the surfactant is 0.5-2mm; placing the sample block coated with the surfactant on a piece of slick paper and maintaining the sample block for 24-48 hours under a standard condition (temperature being 20 plus / minus 3 DEG C and humidity being above 90%); weighting and recording the mass of the sample block; placing the sample block into a constant temperature and humidity maintaining box; measuring and recording the mass of the sample block at specific intervals; and stopping testing after a change value of the mass of the sample block is stable, and calculating a vapor wet-stream density.
