The method comprises the following steps of: selecting mature hybrid cymbidium plants with height of 70 to 100 centimeters and consistent nutrient growth; and placing the selected hybrid cymbidium plants in a treatment chamber of an electromagnetic field treatment apparatus, and performing electromagnetic field treatment for 3 to 9 hours continuously or at intervals of 0.5 to 1.3 hours in the daytime and continuously treating for 30 to 90 days to realize advanced flowering period of the hybrid cymbidium, wherein in the electromagnetic field treatment, the voltage of the electromagnetic field is controlled at 0.8 to 110kV, the electromagnetic frequency is 3 to 100kHz, and the waveform is continuous wave or pulse wave.
