Abstract

The invention relates to a novel gel-coating resin, which is characterized in that the novel gel-coating resin is prepared from the following materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of epoxy resin, 0.01-0.05 part of carbon black, 2-15 parts of gas-phased SiO2 and 100-115 parts of aluminum powder. According to the invention, the strength, the coefficient of elongation and the abrasive resistance of the resin are effectively improved, the smoothness of material surfaces is improved, the anti-ageing performance is increased and the heat resistance is improved. In the invention, convenience for quality control in actual production is brought: uneven parts on the surface of a mould are easy to find by black lamplights. A method provided by the invention is safe and simple in the whole manufacturing process; and meanwhile, the cost of the gel-coating resin is greatly reduced and contributions to a glass fiber reinforced plastic industry are made to some extent.
