Abstract

The bus monitor comprises a 1394b physical layer chip, an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) module, a photoelectric conversion module and a storage, wherein the photoelectric conversion module realizes photoelectric conversion between a signal of an optical interface and the serial electric signal of the 1394b physical layer chip through impedance matching; and the bus monitor is connected into the 1394b optical bus by the optical interface; the 1394b physical layer chip decodes the received serial electric signal and transmits a data packet and state information to the FPGA module; and the FPGA module records and stores the data packet and state information in the storage. The bus monitor provided by the invention is simple in structural design, low in power consumption and small in volume.
