Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method for nonionic hydrophobic association polyacrylamide. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing organic silicon monomers, acrylamide and water uniformly; introducing nitrogen and removing oxygen; adding an initiator; and performing polymerization with the assistance of ultrasonic wave to obtain the nonionic hydrophobic association polyacrylamide. Due to a high-efficiency dispersive effect of the ultrasonic wave, the organic silicon monomers can be dispersed into aqueous solution well without adding emulsifying agents or surface active monomers and is copolymerized with hydrophilic monomers. Through the adoption of the preparation method, the emulsifying agents or surface active monomers are avoided, aftertreatment on HAPAM is completely eliminated, the preparation process is simplified, and the production efficiency is improved.
